About

Dr Glenis Wade

Executive Team Coach · Leadership Development Specialist · Creative Strategist

I work with senior leaders and executive teams to create the conditions for clarity, connection, and meaningful progress. My approach brings together systems‑psychodynamic insight from my Tavistock training with the creative, relational methodologies I developed at Hult Ashridge. This blend helps leaders and teams navigate complexity with confidence, psychological safety, and a deeper understanding of how they work together.

My practice is shaped by contemporary leadership research and informed by my earlier career as a business‑school management academic. It’s also strengthened by nearly three decades of experience developing leaders, managers, and executives across sectors in the UK and internationally. I support senior leaders to lead with presence, clarity, and creative intelligence, drawing on strategy, somatic awareness, and inclusive leadership to build cultures where diverse teams feel safe to think boldly and collaborate deeply.

Before establishing this independent practice, I worked as a Learning Consultant, designing and delivering leadership and management programmes for UK government and private‑sector organisations. This experience sharpened my ability to translate insight into practical development solutions that support leaders at every level.

Institutions I’ve Worked With

Institutions where I have held formal roles contributing to leadership and organisational development studies.

My Philosophy

I believe leadership is relational. Teams thrive when they understand the system they’re part of, the patterns they create, and the conditions they need to do their best work. My role is to create the space for honest conversation, grounded reflection, and practical movement. I work with what is spoken and unspoken, helping leaders build cultures of clarity, inclusion, and psychological safety.

Creative Practice & The Cohesion Experiment

Alongside my organisational development work, I maintain a creative practice that explores connection, perception, and collective experience. This creative lens brings depth, imagination, and new ways of seeing to my leadership team development work.

The Cohesion Experiment is the ethos that underpins my executive team coaching approach. It ensures that every session is a live opportunity for leadership teams to try new ways of being together, experimenting with collaboration, presence, and relational awareness in real time.

Artful Artefacts™ is the creative methodology at the heart of my practice. Through simple acts of making, leaders create tangible artefacts that surface assumptions, illuminate tensions, and reveal the cultural patterns shaping their organisation. The process feels playful, but it’s doing serious cultural and managerial work, offering cognitive respite while enabling deeper insight and more intentional cultural shaping.
